Job summary

Hinterland Toyota Robina is seeking a motivated Parts Interpreter to join our busy Gold Coast dealership and support both service and customer needs.

You’ll liaise with customers to identify spare parts, use the Manufacturer EPC to determine the correct items, and source parts through online portals, with accurate quotes and efficient order processing. Weekend-free, Monday-to-Friday schedule, strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Interpreter is highly regarded but not essential.
• minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
• Genuine interest in the motor industry.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional presentation, integrity and attention to detail.
• Solid computer literacy and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to assist with spare parts and accessory enquiries.
• Use EPC to determine required parts.
• Source and order parts through online manufacturer portals.
• Produce quotes for panel shops and mechanical workshops.
• Process orders and quotes in the Tune DMS.
• Assist with stock checks and order processing.
• Maintain data integrity, accurate invoicing and payments.
• Support the service department with enquiries, bookings and coordination of repairs.
• Contribute to a positive team and customer experience.

About the Role

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both our service team and customers by ensuring all parts and accessory needs are met quickly and accurately.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with customers to assist with spare parts and accessory enquiries
• Using the Manufacturer EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue) to determine required parts
• Sourcing and ordering parts through online manufacturer portals
• Producing quotes for panel shops and mechanical workshops
• Processing orders and quotes through the DMS system (Tune)
• Assisting with stock checking and order processing
• Maintaining data integrity, accurate invoicing and payments
• Supporting the service department with enquiries, bookings and coordination of repairs
• Contributing to a positive team and customer experience culture

What You’ll Bring
