Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist for the Erina Branch on a part-time basis. You’ll work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am–4.00pm, servicing customers at Erina Fair Shopping Centre.

You’ll have in-depth conversations about banking needs, assist with account maintenance and credit applications, and perform Financial Health Checks to understand and address customers’ financial goals while promoting our digital banking options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering exceptional Customer Service in Financial Services, Retail or Hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, and place the customer at the centre of everything you do.
• Experience working in a busy, commercial retail environment and providing holistic solutions.
• Genuine interest in building a career with CommBank and improving customers’ financial wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with customers about banking needs including Home Loans, Business Banking & Financial Advice.
• Support customers with enquiries, maintenance on accounts and process applications for credit products.
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers’ financial needs and changes.
• Provide options through education and demonstration of in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions while upholding processes and risk controls.
