Job summary

Commonwealth Bank’s Marion Shopping Centre branch in Oaklands Park is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist on a part-time basis. The role involves helping customers with transactions, using digital banking tools, and referring complex needs to specialists.

You will work closely with the Branch Manager and team to deliver outstanding outcomes and contribute to community activities while ensuring customer satisfaction through personal connections and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build personal connections with customers through meaningful conversations
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Ask about and respond to customers’ transactional needs in-branch, ensuring satisfaction
• Perform interviews and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and associated products
• Proactively call customers to build rapport and invite them into the branch for a Financial Health Check
• Adhere to bank processes and procedures, accurately reconciling transactions and reviewing customers’ financial positions
• Engage with customers by participating in community events and fundraising activities
• Look out for the safety and wellbeing of your team
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and take action to improve service
