Job summary

TeamKids is hiring a Casual Educator in Miranda and surrounding suburbs to support before and after school care for children aged 5–12. You will assist with morning and afternoon programs and contribute to a fun, engaging learning environment.

We offer flexible shifts, development opportunities including Director Of Service training, and benefits like discounted care for your own children. Prior OSHC or education experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in before/after school care or education is helpful but not required.
• Passionate about working with children and helping them thrive.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in before and after school care programs for children aged 5–12.
• Support engaging activities, excursions and safe play in Miranda and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with a team of educators to maintain a positive, safe learning environment.

The Role - Casual Educator

Location: Miranda & Surrounding suburbs

Shifts Available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll Need (or Be Willing To Get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Preferably has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications

Successful Applicants
