Job summary

TeamKids in North Sydney is seeking casual Educators to join our OSHC program. You will help deliver engaging activities before and after school, supervise children aged 5–12, and ensure a safe, fun environment. Work closely with a supportive team and adapt to a variety of shift patterns.

You'll gain valuable experience in the OSHC space, have opportunities to grow your skills through our training and be part of a company dedicated to child safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in Before/After School Care or education is preferred but not required.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.
• Willing to obtain relevant checking/clearance (WWCC/WWVP/Blue card/VIT) as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities and supervise children in before/after school sessions.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment following program guidelines.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: North Sydney & Cammeray

Shifts Available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll Need (or Be Willing To Get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC, WWVP, Blue card, VIT)

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
