Job summary

TeamKids in North Sydney is seeking casual Educators to support our OSHC program, with flexible shifts from 7:00–9:00 and 2:30–6:30, plus optional holiday hours.

Join a teacher-led team dedicated to enriching children's lives, with opportunities for training, discounted childcare, and meaningful, hands-on activities for children aged 5–12.

You'll contribute to a safe, inclusive environment and build skills in communication, activity planning, and child safety.

Qualifications

• As part of TeamKids’ OSHC program, prior OSHC or education experience is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates genuine care for children's wellbeing and development.
• Excellent communication with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support children during before/after school care and holidays.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver engaging activities.
• Assist with safety procedures and program setup.

Who is TeamKids?

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: North Sydney & Cammeray

Shifts available:

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
