TeamKids is hiring Educators for the Outer East OSHC program in Ringwood East. This casual educator role offers before school, after school, and holiday shifts with flexible scheduling, extra pay and opportunities for professional development.

You will join a team led by teachers, focused on enriching children's lives through engaging activities, excursions and creative play, while ensuring safety and inclusion for all children aged 5-12.

Qualifications

• Ideally has previous experience in Before and After School Care or education, but not essential.
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive.
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Casual Educator role in OSHC; work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable OSHC experience.
• Support children's learning and development during before and after school care.

The Role - Casual Educator This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Ringwood East

• 7:00am-9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm-6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6-8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!

• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• As part of TeamKids' commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
