Job summary

TeamKids in NSW North is hiring Casual Educators to support before and after school care, with shifts in Ryde and surrounding suburbs. No two days are the same and you will work with a friendly team to create a safe, engaging environment for children aged 5–12.

This role offers flexible shifts, opportunities for development, and discounted care for your own children. You will gain hands-on OSHC experience and contribute to excursions, incursions and themed days.

Qualifications

• Ideally has prior experience in Before/After School Care or education.
• Passionate about helping children thrive.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 5–12 with engaging activities.
• Work with a supportive OSHC team to ensure safety and inclusion.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Ryde and surrounding suburbs

Shifts Available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll Need (or Be Willing To Get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
