Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare’s St. Flannan’s OSHC in Zillmere is seeking a hands-on Assistant Coordinator & Educational Leader to guide educators and shape the educational program.

In this combined role you’ll support daily operations, mentor staff, lead curriculum development using MTOP framework, foster inclusive practice, and build strong partnerships with families and the school community on Brisbane’s Northside.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Experience in an education and care setting, preferably within OSHC.
• Understanding of MTOP framework and National Quality Framework.
• Experience or capability in educational leadership, curriculum development and mentoring educators.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support daily service operations and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Coordinator with daily operations and service management.
• Assist rostering, supervision, team coordination and allocation of responsibilities.
• Support administrative and financial tasks, including record keeping.
• Help maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and policies.
• Lead development, evaluation and continuous improvement of the educational program using MTOP.
• Mentor educators to strengthen understanding of children’s learning and wellbeing.
