St. Flannan’s Outside School Hours Care in Zillmere is seeking an Assistant Coordinator and Educational Leader to support the Coordinator, mentor educators and shape a child-centred program.

This role blends operational oversight with high-quality educational practice in a supportive Catholic education context. You will work with a team on MTOP-aligned planning, staff rostering, compliance, family partnerships and continuous improvement, with access to specialist CEEC support and opportunities

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Experience in education and care, preferably OSHC.
• Understanding of MTOP and National Quality Framework.
• Leadership, curriculum development and mentoring experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to support daily service operations and team leadership.
• Comfort with childcare management software and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and educational leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Mentor educators, strengthen educational practice and promote child wellbeing.
• Support rostering, supervision, and coordination of the team.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, National Law/Regulations and policies.
• Foster partnerships with families and stakeholders and participate in quality improvement.
