Job summary

Brisbane Adventist College is seeking an OSHC Vacation Care Service Coordinator to lead our Vacation Care program. You’ll plan engaging science experiments, sports, arts and educational activities that kids actually want to do, while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.

You’ll manage day-to-day operations, coordinate with our Programs Engagement Manager and compliance teams, and deliver healthy snacks. A Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or related fields is preferred,

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or related field.
• Warm, engaging demeanor with a can-do attitude.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR.
• Willingness to obtain additional trainings.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Brisbane Adventist College

Hourly Rate: $47- $50 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.00- $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week required during vacation care only.

• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
