Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) in the Eastern Suburbs seeks an Assistant Coordinator for a permanent part-time role (66 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday, term time only. You will support a safe, engaging OSHC environment and work closely with coordinators to implement programs while building strong ties with families and the school community.

Ideal candidates will hold an ECEC qualification (or be working towards it), have OSHC experience, and possess a NSW Working with

Qualifications

• A qualification (or working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Previous OSHC experience is desirable.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check is required.
• Complete the mandatory GECCKO child safety training.
• A child protection training certificate is preferred.
• A first aid certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children.
• Manage children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision.
• Support design and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Build strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Share children’s experiences and achievements with families.
• Shifts are Monday to Friday.
