Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for a permanent part-time OSHC role in South Western Sydney. The position is term time only, 70 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• A qualification (or working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Previous experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
• A valid NSW Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO (Register GECCKO)
• A child protection training certificate
• A First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Responsible Person for the service
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children
• Managing children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision and safety
• Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs
• Building strong relationships with families and the school community
• Sharing children’s experiences and achievements with families
