Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for a permanent full-time OSHC role. The position runs 76 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, with split shifts and term-time operation.

You will ensure a safe, inclusive environment, manage attendance, and support engaging educational programs for children. The successful candidate will hold an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or be working towards it), have OSHC experience, and possess

Qualifications

• A qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards one).
• Completed GECCKO child safety training.
• Child protection training certificate required.
• First Aid Certificate required.
• NSW Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children.
• Managing children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision and safety.
• Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Building strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Sharing children’s experiences and achievements with families.
