Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for an OSHC service in Western Sydney. This permanent part-time role (30 hours per week) runs Monday to Friday with split shifts and term-time only, offering a collaborative, child-safe environment.

You will act as the Responsible Person, support program delivery, manage attendance, and build strong relationships with families and the school community while upholding best practice and child safety standards.

Qualifications

• OSHC experience is required or beneficial.
• Strong child safety awareness and communication skills are essential.
• Commitment to inclusive, safe learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children.
• Managing children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision and safety.
• Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Building strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Sharing children’s experiences and achievements with families.
