Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd (SCECS) is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for our OSHC program in NSW. This permanent part-time role (66 hours per fortnight, Mon-Fri) focuses on safety, engagement, and partnership with families.

You will act as Responsible Person, support program design, attendance management, and provide high-quality care in collaboration with staff and the school community. We offer above-award pay with allowances and super.

Qualifications

• A qualification (or be working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
• NSW Working with Children Check required.
• Completed GECCKO national child safety training. Register GECCKO.
• Child protection training certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Responsible Person for the service
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children
• Managing children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision and safety
• Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs
• Building strong relationships with families and the school community
• Sharing children's experiences and achievements with families
