Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd in Bossley Park NSW is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for OSHC. You will work with a Coordinator and Regional Officer to ensure a safe, engaging OSHC service for children, manage attendance and bookings, and support educational program delivery.

The role is permanent part-time (30 hours per week) Monday to Friday, with split shifts and term-time only. Current WWCC, First Aid, and GECCKO child safety training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
• Ability to work alongside a Coordinator and Regional Officer.
• Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive OSHC environment for staff and children.
• Managing children's attendance and bookings to maintain supervision.
• Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Building strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Communicating children’s experiences and achievements with families.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A validNSW Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.Register GECCKO
• Achild protection training certificate
• AFirst Aid Certificate
