Job summary

1 Spring Street Hotel & Residences in Perth, WA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the founding team. You will oversee 50-room residence operations, guest services, housekeeping and restaurant service, driving pre-opening readiness and high guest satisfaction.

You will lead recruitment, training and coaching of the operations team, ensuring cost control, labour efficiency and compliance with WHS, food safety, RSA and licensing requirements as the business opens and grows.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Operations Manager, Residence Manager, Hotel Manager or senior hospitality leader.
• Strong experience in accommodation, guest services, housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations.
• Pre-opening experience is highly regarded.

1 Spring Street Hotel & Residences is an upcoming 50-room residence located at One Spring Street, Elizabeth Quay.

As we prepare to open, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to join our founding team and help create a polished, welcoming and memorable guest experience from day one.

About the Role

You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the 50-room residence, including guest services, housekeeping and restaurant service. You will lead pre-opening readiness, establish operational procedures and build a high-performing, guest-focused team.

Key Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

• Strong experience in accommodation, guest services, housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations.
• Pre-opening experience is highly regarded.
• A hands-on, visible and supportive leadership style.
• Strong people leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Sound commercial understanding, including labour management and cost control.
• Current RSA certification; Approved Manager and food safety experience are advantageous.
