Job summary

Silk Hospitality, an Australian owned hotel services company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in hotel housekeeping. This hands-on leadership role oversees multiple sites, supports site managers and partners with hotel leadership to deliver consistent quality, safety and compliance across a growing portfolio.

You will drive performance, recruit and mobilise teams, maintain WHS standards and build enduring hotel relationships.

Silk Hospitality is looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in hotel housekeeping and proven experience overseeing multiple sites or large operations.

This is a hands-on operational leadership role for someone who understands housekeeping. You’ll support and lead site-based management teams, build strong hotel partnerships, improve performance and ensure our operations consistently deliver on quality, people, safety and compliance.

What you will be doing

About You

Ideally, you will bring:

Extensive experience in hotel housekeeping operations.

Previous experience in a similar senior operational role.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple hotel sites, a significant portfolio or a large-scale housekeeping operation.

Experience leading managers and large frontline workforces.

Strong commercial and operational judgement.

Confidence dealing directly with hotel clients and senior stakeholders.

A practical, visible leadership style. You are comfortable being on-site and working alongside your teams to solve problems.
