Silk Hospitality is seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper for a luxury 5-star hotel in Perth CBD. You will lead a large housekeeping team, ensuring 5-star service standards and brand compliance while supporting workforce planning and staff development.

Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper, you will drive operational excellence, quality assurance, and collaboration across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas.
• Lead and coach a large housekeeping team to deliver 5-star service standards.
• Act as department head in Executive Housekeeper's absence.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Conduct room/public area inspections for quality and brand compliance.
• Support rostering, workforce planning, and payroll processes.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments for seamless operations.
• Monitor inventory and assist with supplies and equipment ordering.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support housekeeping operations at a luxury 5-star hotel in Perth CBD. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their leadership career within a high-performing hotel environment.

Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, and leading a large housekeeping team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

In this role, you will be hands-on in daily operations while also contributing to workforce planning, team development, quality assurance, and overall departmental performance.

What You'll Do

• Support the day-to-day management of housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas
• Lead, coach, and motivate a large housekeeping team to consistently deliver 5-star service standards
• Act as the department leader during the Executive Housekeeper's absence
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning
• Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure quality and brand compliance
• Support rostering, workforce planning, productivity management, and payroll processes
• Investigate and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and equipment

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, or senior housekeeping leader within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage large teams
• Proven experience driving housekeeping quality standards and operational performance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Sound knowledge of housekeeping systems, productivity management, and hotel operations
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
