Job summary

South East Queensland Hauliers in Hemmant is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day transport, warehouse and wash bay activities. You will coordinate containers, cargo and daily jobs and support customs processes, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and customer service.

Full training and handover are provided; the role offers a stable 38-hour week, standard hours around 8:00am–4:00pm, and a pathway to growth within the company.

This is a niche role, and we understand that finding someone who already has experience across every part of it can be difficult. That's okay — we're not looking for someone who knows it all.

We're looking for someone with a solid background in transport, logistics, freight, warehousing, scheduling, administration or customer service who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow into an Operations Coordinator position.

Full Training & Handover Provided

You won't be thrown in the deep end. The current person in the role will provide a full handover, and we'll train you in the technical side of the position, including customs, biosecurity and our operational processes.

About the Role

Hours & Flexibility

Monday to Friday | 38 hours per week

Our usual hours are around 8:00am–4:00pm. As we're in transport, things don't always run exactly to the clock, so some flexibility is required. There may be days where you need to start earlier or finish later, but flexibility works both ways — depending on the needs of the business and the hours worked, there will also be days where you can start earlier and finish earlier or leave earlier.
