Job summary

South East Queensland Hauliers (SEQH) in Hemmant is seeking an organised Operations Coordinator to join the team. The role includes full handover training and support as you learn our customs, biosecurity and operational processes.

You’ll coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to keep containers moving, manage documentation, and adapt to changing priorities. Monday to Friday, 7:00am start, 38-hour week, with salary between $80,000 and $93,000 plus super.

Qualifications

• Strong spoken and written English is essential for this role.
• Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
• Confident communicating clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and administrative systems.
• Confident working with documentation and data.
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• A strong problem solver.
• Proactive and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the customs and biosecurity requirements of incoming containers and cargo.
• Coordinate biosecurity inspections and requirements.
• Organise container inspections and unpacking.
• Coordinate customs clearance requirements and liaise with brokers and freight forwarders.
• Keep customers updated on container status and coordinate with transport, warehouse and wash bay teams.
• Maintain accurate records and systems and follow up issues to keep containers moving.
