Job summary

South East Queensland Hauliers in Hemmant is hiring a Forklift Operator to move freight around the warehouse and support daily transport operations.

You will handle loading/unloading, lift containers, perform pre-start checks, complete paperwork, and help keep the yard safe and organized. A current LF forklift licence and reliable transport are required, with 6:00am starts Monday to Friday.

Full-time hours and weekly pay are offered, with overtime opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Things are ramping up at SEQH, and we need another LF Operator to join the team!

South East Queensland Hauliers (SEQH) is looking for reliable and experienced LF Forklift Operators to join our team at our Hemmant site.

We currently have 13 forklifts and 12 operators, so we need you to fill that final spot.

We have the hours. We have the work. Now we’re looking for the right person to join our team.

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving freight around our Hemmant site and supporting our day-to-day warehouse and transport operations.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a current LF Forklift Licence

• Has previous forklift operating experience

• Is reliable and safety-focused

• Is physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work

• Is available Monday–Friday for 6:00am starts

• Has reliable transport

• Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Works well as part of a team

• Is willing to learn and take direction

Candidates must successfully complete a urine Drug & Alcohol test and National Police Check.

SEQH also conducts random monthly Drug & Alcohol testing.

A practical forklift assessment will be required.
