Job summary

Stoddart Group is seeking an Operations Assistant for its Roofing Division at the Loganholme branch in Queensland. You’ll support administration, scheduling, customer service and day-to-day coordination in a fast-paced environment.

No prior roofing experience is required as training is provided; you’ll learn our systems and the residential construction industry while contributing to a busy team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Order metal roofing materials and flashings.
• Interpret two‑dimensional drawings and understand them as three‑dimensional objects.
• Manage Measure and Install call-up notifications.
• Update estimated install schedules.
• Coordinate service requests, warranty jobs and rectifications.
• Lodge service inspections and repairs.
• Liaise with builders and suppliers for timely updates.
• Data entry and record keeping.
• Resolve day-to-day issues with practical solutions.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the team.
• Learn our systems and processes in residential construction.

We’re looking for an Operations Assistant to join our Roofing Division at our Loganholme branch.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you’ll support the Operations team with administration, scheduling, customer service and day-to-day coordination. You don’t need to have experience in roofing or construction, we’re happy to train the right person!

What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Ordering metal roofing materials and flashings
• Learning to interpret two-dimensional drawings and understand them as three-dimensional objects

• Coordinating service requests, warranty jobs and rectifications

• Helping resolve day-to-day issues and finding practical solutions
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the team

Previous experience in administration, customer service, scheduling or the construction industry is helpful, but not essential. We’re more interested in your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well as part of a team.
