Job summary

Stoddart Group in the Wollongong region is seeking a Site Supervisor for the Roofing Division to lead on-site teams and ensure safe, high-quality workmanship. You’ll coordinate installations, supervise roofers and subcontractors, and drive schedules and reporting from the field.

Ideal candidates bring proven roofing experience, leadership readiness, a White Card, and a strong focus on safety, communication, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Proven roofing experience (metal roofing & fascia, guttering).
• Leadership experience or readiness to supervise teams on-site.
• White Card (General Construction Induction) or ability to obtain.
• High attention to detail and safety.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate roofers and subcontractors on-site.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections.
• Manage site measures and scheduling of works.
• Ensure safety and workmanship standards on site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues.
• Provide technical guidance to teams and stakeholders.
• Manage job documentation and reporting via system apps.

Take the Lead On-Site

We’re on the lookout for a Site Supervisor to join our expanding Roofing Division. If you’re an experienced roofer or plumber looking to lead a great team and help deliver quality work you can be proud of, this role could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Site Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to person on-site, coordinating and supervising installations in the Wollongong region to ensure they run safely, smoothly, and to the highest standards.

• Supervise and support roofers and subcontractors on-site
• Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections
• Perform site measures and manage work schedules
• Ensure high standards of safety and workmanship
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site
• Provide technical advice and guidance to teams
• Manage job documentation and reporting via system apps
