Job summary

Stoddart Group is seeking a motivated Site Supervisor for Byron Bay to coordinate roofing installations, supervise subcontractors, and maintain safety and quality across multiple residential sites.

You will act as the link between builders, contractors and our internal teams, ensuring projects run safely, on time and to program with strong customer outcomes. Relocation support is available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, ideally metal roofing, fascia and gutter.
• Strong understanding of residential building sites and subcontractor coordination.
• High attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

Stoddart Group are a leading supplier and installer of products to the residential building industry. A leader in what we do, Stoddart are the often unseen but ever-present backbone of the construction of a new home. This role is part of our Roofing division. Specialising in metal fascia, gutter and roofing, this division is the bustling heart of Stoddart Group and works closely with our amazing builders to ensure we’re an efficient and valuable part of their build.

We are currently looking for a motivated and trade-qualified Site Supervisor to join our Byron Bay team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to come off the tools and step into a leadership-focused role where you can utilise your roofing knowledge, problem-solving ability and people skills to make a real impact on site operations and project delivery.

This role is based in Byron Bay, however this role is also open to strong candidates currently located in Queensland or interstate who are looking to relocate. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right person to support a smooth transition.

About the Role

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, ensuring quality workmanship and supporting efficient delivery across multiple residential sites.

You are proactive, organised and confident making practical decisions in a fast-paced construction environment. You take pride in quality workmanship, communicate effectively with others and understand the importance of strong site leadership.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in construction, ideally metal roofing, fascia and gutter
• Strong understanding of residential building sites and subcontractor coordination
• High attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
