Flinders Rural and Remote Health at Flinders University is seeking an experienced Operational Support Officer to deliver high-quality operational and administrative support from the Darwin Casuarina campus. You will coordinate meetings, conferences, travel, and stakeholder visits, while contributing to continuous improvements in procedures and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing operational and administrative support in a complex environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary administrative systems, software and processes, including applying policies for efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support including calendar management, coordination of meetings and conferences, and preparation/distribution of correspondence.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with leadership staff and key stakeholders.
• Support development and ongoing maintenance of operational procedures, processes and templates.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, students, visitors and groups, ensuring policy compliance.
