Job summary

Flinders University in Darwin is seeking an Operational Support Officer to join the Rural and Remote Health program. Based at the Darwin Casuarina campus, you will deliver high-quality operational and administrative support to the Discipline of Rural and Remote Health, coordinating conferences, stakeholder visits and executive support to leadership staff.

You will help improve procedures and systems, manage travel, and ensure policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience providing operational and administrative support in a complex environment.
• Ability to coordinate events, travel and facilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of administrative systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational and administrative support, including calendar management, coordination of meetings and conferences, and the preparation and distribution of correspondence.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with leadership staff and key stakeholders.
• Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of operational procedures, processes and templates to support efficient service delivery.
• Coordinating travel arrangements for staff, students, visitors and groups, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
