Job summary

Flinders University in Darwin is seeking an experienced Operational Support Officer to join the Rural and Remote Health discipline, providing high-quality operational and administrative support from the Darwin Casuarina campus.

You will coordinate conferences and events, manage calendars, arrange travel, build relationships with leadership and stakeholders, and contribute to improving procedures and templates for consistent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing operational and administrative support in a complex organisation.
• Experience coordinating events, travel, facilities, resources and business operations.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support including calendar management, meetings, conferences, and correspondence distribution.
• Build and maintain relationships with leadership staff and stakeholders.
• Support development and maintenance of operational procedures, processes and templates.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, students, visitors and groups in line with policies.
