Job summary

SKS Technologies is seeking an experienced AV Support Specialist to provide dedicated onsite support to clients across Sydney and surrounding areas, ensuring AV systems run reliably and users are supported.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize AV and conferencing setups, building strong client relationships while working with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Crestron.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, IT, Electronics or a related field.
• Previous experience in an AV Support or AV Technician role.
• Experience working in corporate, commercial or healthcare environments is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of AV systems, signal flow and conferencing technologies.
• Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Crestron.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A professional approach and strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing onsite AV support and troubleshooting during business hours.
• Diagnosing and resolving AV and conferencing issues quickly and effectively.
• Conducting preventative maintenance, system checks and software updates.
• Inspecting and calibrating AV equipment and identifying potential issues.
• Supporting clients during meetings, presentations and events.
• Providing user training and guidance to ensure clients are confident using their systems.
• Preparing service reports and documenting issues, solutions and recommendations.
• Working closely with internal teams to improve system performance and service delivery.
• Building strong, professional relationships with clients and becoming a trusted technical point of contact.
