Job summary

Pro AV Solutions, Australia’s leading workplace technology integration organisation, is seeking an Embedded Onsite AV Service Technician in NSW. You will maintain and troubleshoot onsite AV systems, support users, and deliver high-quality service with a team recognised for excellence.

You will have hands-on AV experience, familiarity with Crestron/Extron/Zoom/Teams/Webex, and certifications are a plus. Diploma or IT networking background is preferred; strong communication and independent work

Qualifications

• Experience in AV installation, support or maintenance.
• Familiarity with major AV platforms and tools.
• Certifications are a plus (CTS/Crestron/Extron).
• Diploma/Cert IV level or 3 years IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line AV system support including video conferencing, digital signage, audio, control systems and displays.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and monitor AV equipment for optimal performance.
• Support meeting setups, live events, and conference calls as required.
• Deliver friendly and professional service to onsite users.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for escalated issues.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in AV service delivery.

About the RoleThis position combines hands‑on AV technical support with excellent client service. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless AV experience by maintaining and troubleshooting onsite AV systems, assisting users, and providing high‑quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, audio systems, control systems, and displays
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Maintain and monitor AV equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Support meeting setups, live events, and conference calls as required
• Deliver a friendly and professional service experience for all onsite users
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for escalated issues
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in AV service delivery

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Proven experience in AV installation, support, or maintenance
• Familiarity with major AV platforms and tools (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Zoom, Teams, Cisco Webex)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a customer environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CTS, Crestron, or Extron) are a plus
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Positive and motivated attitude.
• Diploma level TAFE course similar or equivalent to Cert IV in Information Technology (Networking) or 3 years IT work experience.
