Job summary

Baker McKenzie in Sydney is seeking an On-Site IT Support Analyst for a 12-month period to ensure smooth operation of personal computing and office technology.

You will provide hands-on support, managing software/hardware installs, video/audio conferencing, and ISMS-aligned security practices while engaging with end users and escalating to specialist resources when needed. This role requires strong English communication and willingness to cover on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong background in computer science or information sciences.
• Microsoft MCP certification.
• Experience with Windows and Office support.
• Ability to work under SLA and in a team.
• Willingness for 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on fixes: install/upgrade software, hardware, and configure apps.
• Own and drive issues to resolution and escalate as needed.
• Support video/audio conferencing in client facilities.
• Participate in improvements to the on-site IT environment.
• Support ISMS compliance and security practices.
• Test fixes and verify problem resolution.
• Document problem solving and track resolutions.
• Provide AV support for live meetings and events.
• Handle on-call duties as part of rotation.
