Job summary

Enterprise IT Resources is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Officer for a 9-month contract in Sydney CBD. The role is onsite, paying 66 AUD per hour inclusive of super, and involves hands-on support across desktops, printers, tablets and mobile devices.

You will resolve incidents, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and maintain knowledge resources while delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires prior IT Service Desk or Desktop Support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and common desktop apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for user inquiries, incidents and requests.
• Utilise the ticketing system, face-to-face interactions, and phone line for support.
• Set up and relocate end-user hardware including desktops, monitors, printers and devices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance, escalate when needed.
• Perform approved software installations and deployments.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Create and maintain user guides, contribute to the knowledge base.
• Offer technical guidance and basic training to users; communicate status clearly.
