Job summary

Monks is seeking an IT Office Support Specialist to join our Sydney team. You will be the on-site technical contact, delivering first-line support for Mac and Windows devices, printers, and room tech, ensuring smooth operations of our workspace and events.

You will manage asset inventory, lifecycle, and ISO documentation, assist with deployments and onboarding, and collaborate with the Global IT team to provide friendly, face-to-face service to colleagues across the AU office.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
• Knowledge of macOS and Windows is a strong plus.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Jamf, Crowdstrike, Office365, Slack and Freshservice.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site contact for technical issues and provide first-line support for troubleshooting of hardware and software (Mac/Windows).
• Install, support and maintain in-office hardware (computers, printers) and software; diagnose, repair or replace equipment as needed.
• Ensure meeting room equipment works, support presentations and events, manage cabling, and assist with office moves when IT is needed.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory, ISO documentation, process repairs, and manage lifecycle/recycling.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding IT needs, set up new hires, ship/receive equipment, and arrange pickups.
• Keep IT documentation and policies up to date; assist deploying new applications and solutions.
• Support the broader IT team by resolving FreshService tickets and addressing Slack queries.
