Job summary

SEEK in Australia seeks a 12-month fixed-term IT Support Specialist to join the Workplace and Infrastructure Platforms team. You will resolve technical issues, install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, hardware, and meeting room tech to keep operations running smoothly.

You will support internal teams across ANZ, with Frontline, Infrastructure, and external vendors, including after-hours support and occasional travel to other offices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Level 2 technical support.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Hands-on with macOS and Windows; familiar with iOS and Android.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and Office 365 administration.
• Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
• Troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking.
• Ability to work under pressure in a cross-functional team.
• Experience with device management tools such as SCCM, JAMF, and PowerShell.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+ are a plus; SaaS/PaaS/IaaS experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated technical issues from Frontline support and provide timely resolutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems across systems and platforms.
• Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams for prompt resolution.
• Create, update, and maintain technical knowledge articles and guidelines.
• Contribute to knowledgebase articles for Service Desk and end-users.
• Assist in audits related to IT systems, processes, and security.
• Provide required documentation to auditors as needed.
• Participate in asset tracking, inventory management, and procurement.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets.
• Assist in planning and executing technical projects with cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to IT processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Track software licenses, renewals, and compliance with procurement/legal teams.
• Provide Office 365 triage support and assistance to users.
• Image, setup, configure, and deploy new hardware; manage asset tagging.
• Provide in-person support for general office technical issues (monitors, printers, rooms).
• Attend the Tech Bar to assist users with queries and issues.
