Diebold Nixdorf is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, debug and maintain ATMs, retail and other equipment at customer sites in Melbourne. You will perform incident handling, preventive maintenance and customer training, ensuring equipment operates reliably and safely.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, and professionals with relevant field service experience encouraged to apply.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Driver's license and driving record that satisfies fleet requirements.
• Ability to use personal vehicle for business travel and transportation of service parts when required.

Responsabilités

• Installs, debugs and provides technical maintenance for ATMs, retail and other equipment within an assigned customer and/or product area.
• Performs incident handling, preventive maintenance, IMAC/R and customer training duties.
• Performs hardware repairs on a component level.
• Cleans and adjusts mechanical components.
• Configures and installs applicable software.
• Preven­tive Maintenance: performs routine checks according to documented procedures.
• Refills consumables as directed.
• IMAC/R: installs, moves, adds, changes and removes hardware and software products.
• Customer Training: instructs and trains customers on usage and operation of installed hardware and software.
• Receives incident briefings and orders from the dispatch function and updates on unforeseen issues.
• Provides detailed briefings on all performed activities and proactively informs customers about status, progress and outcomes.
• Continuous Process Improvement: observes problems and offers improvement recommendations.
• Actively uses corporate tools and processes for knowledge sharing and information gathering.
