Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Building Manager to join the Randwick-based team in Sydney, NSW. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage resident relationships, inspections, quotes, and repairs for a residential mixed-use development.

The role requires proven experience in building and facilities management, contractor oversight, and strong communication with residents, owners, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in building management, facilities management, or property management.
• Strong knowledge of contractor management, compliance obligations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating reactive and preventative maintenance programmes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with residents, owners, committees, contractors and service providers.
• Proven organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Financial administration experience including budgeting, invoice processing and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day building operations and maintenance coordination.
• Conduct inspections, obtain quotes, and arrange repairs of building services.
• Identify non-compliance or risk issues and respond promptly to operational matters.
• Review and administer operational procedures to ensure high-quality service to stakeholders.
