Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Transport Management Centre in Eveleigh. This permanent, on-site role involves monitoring motorways, responding to incidents, and coordinating traffic management within a 24/7 operations framework to ensure a safe and efficient road network for customers.

You will work with a proactive team in a challenging environment, delivering timely incident response and clear stakeholder communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of traffic management and motorway operations.
• Operational judgment and clear communication in 24/7 environments.
• Experience in control room or network management environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day motorway operations using TMC systems to ensure safe movement of customers and adherence to standards.
• Manage designated motorways, monitor the motorway and adjacent network, respond to unplanned incidents, and provide clear information to field resources and stakeholders.
• Coordinate the management of motorway operations including monitoring, incident response and traffic management actions in a highly complex 24/7 operating environment.
