In this role, you'll:
Join our Operations Management Branch of the Coordinator-General division that centralises coordination for our 24/7 day-to-day operations to ensure network resilience and effective incident response, from responding to disruptions in partnership with emergency services to operational coordination with privately operated motorways and transport services, keeping customers informed with real-time information.
Be based at The Transport Management Centre (TMC), the operational heart of NSW's transport network, where dedicated professionals work together to manage incidents, coordinate responses and keep people moving safely every day. The TMC offers a unique opportunity to lead highly capable teams, solve complex challenges and make a tangible impact on communities across the state.
Lead the real-time coordination of Transport Management Centre operations, providing clear direction across multiple functions and operating centres during major incidents, network disruption and periods of high demand.

Lead, mentor and build the capability of a large 24/7 frontline workforce. You will create an inclusive, accountable and high-performing culture that remains focused and responsive in complex, fast-moving environments.
As a trusted adviser to senior executives, you will provide strategic and operational advice, coordinate statewide briefings and build strong partnerships across Transport, government agencies and operational stakeholders.
This is a full-time ongoing Opportunity Transport Senior Service Manager TSSM level role, based at Eveleigh Office, Sydney and across a seven-day roster, with additional hours when operationally required.
