We are seeking an Office & Accounts Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, based in Wetherill Park NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to become a valuable member of our finance and administrative functions, supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. You will play a key role in ensuring our accounting processes run smoothly and efficiently, whilst providing essential administrative support across the business.
Processing and reconciling invoices, purchase orders and payment records
Maintaining accurate financial records and updating accounting systems with current transactions
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Performing general data entry tasks and document management
Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements
Answering enquiries from internal staff and external stakeholders
Filing, organising and retrieving records in both physical and digital formats
Assisting with payroll processing and employee record keeping
Performing general office administration duties as required
Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments to resolve accounting queries
Previous experience in an accounts or office administration role, ideally in a manufacturing or trade-related business
Proficiency with MYOB and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain accuracy when handling financial records
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Sound mathematical ability and competency with figures
Good written and verbal communication skills
A professional and courteous approach to customer and internal stakeholder interaction
Ability to work independently and follow instructions whilst being part of a team
Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to meet business requirements
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security
Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or office administration would be advantageous
