Job summary

Better Rehab in Shellharbour is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative clinician-led team. You’ll work across NDIS and Support at Home programs to deliver client-centred care in homes and community settings.

You’ll conduct assessments, design therapy plans, and build strong client relationships, supported by a 1:1 supervisor and ongoing professional development. The role offers flexible scheduling, travel reimbursement, and a social, beach-side workplace with

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Own a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Willing to obtain NDIS checks and police checks (NDIS WWC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design therapy plans in diverse environments (homes, day centres, parks, beach).
• Build enduring relationships with clients and families to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimise client outcomes.

We work across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications.You’llhave the opportunity to work with clients with diverse needs and develop practical, client-centred skills acrossdifferent stagesof their support journey.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on acase by casebasis
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• AnNDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• This role is ideal for Occupational Therapists with 1+ years of post-grad experience
