Job summary

Better Rehab invites Occupational Therapists to join a clinician-led, supportive team in Canterbury, NSW. You’ll assess and plan across homes, centres, parks and community spaces, building lasting client relationships while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

We offer flexible hours, a strong mentoring pathway, PD funding up to $2,500 annually, and travel reimbursement. On-site roles with varied caseloads across NDIS and Support at Home.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• NDIS check, Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain).
• 1–3 years post-grad experience is ideal with strong supervision and support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design therapy plans across diverse settings.
• Build enduring client relationships and observe progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Joining our amazing team inCanterbury, you’ll work alongside a small, close-knit and social team that enjoys regular team lunches, monthly social outings and a highly collaborative approach across caseloads.

We work across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications.You’llhave the opportunity to work with clients with diverse needs and develop practical, client-centred skills acrossdifferent stagesof their support journey.

Day-to-day you will:

• Conductmeaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
• Buildenduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
• Innovate and Collaborate:Whether you're dealing with complex cases, exploring new treatment approaches, or facing professional challenges, you'll have a whole multidisciplinary team in your corner.
