Job summary

Better Rehab is expanding its Mandurah office and seeking an Occupational Therapist to conduct assessments and design client-centred therapy plans across homes and community settings. You will work within a brand-new team, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group to provide high-quality care in diverse environments.

You’ll develop leadership skills as the team grows, with flexible work options, a PD budget, and travel across 30 Australian sites.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Driver's license and access to own vehicle.
• NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design therapy plans in participants' homes, day centres, parks, or at the beach.

We work across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications. You’ll have the opportunity to work with clients with diverse needs and develop practical, client-centred skills across different stages of their support journey.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our brand-new Mandurah office, located in a shared workspace right on the Mandurah Harbour with easy access to the waterfront, local cafés and the vibrant town centre. Day-to-day you will:

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on a case by case basis
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• The role is open to Occupational Therapists with 1+ years experience
