Better Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver person-centred therapy across home, centre and community settings within the NDIS and Support at Home programs. You’ll assess, plan and implement interventions, building strong client relationships and progressing across a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Key requirements include full AHPRA registration, a valid driver’s license, and checks (NDIS/WWC/Police).
We work across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications. You'll have the opportunity to work with clients with diverse needs and develop practical, client-centred skills across different stages of their support journey.
Sutherland is one of our newer Sydney sites, proudly supporting the local NDIS community for just over two years. We've retained 100% of our team thanks to a warm, welcoming culture that’s both sociable and friendly. Whether it's rock climbing for the adventurous or after-work drinks for those who prefer relaxed fun, there's always something happening. With three OT supervisors and a Team Leader who's also an OT, you'll have plenty of senior support on hand. For starters, we're clinician-led at every level, all the way to the top, so we know what it's like being in the trenches of care. We've built the kind of workplace we always wished existed. Where we don't just say we trust our clinicians – we show it.
We're committed to helping you grow as a clinician or as a leader yourself. Our mentoring pathway isn't just about moving up; it's about developing the full spectrum of skills you need to succeed and take on new opportunities including:
We've created an environment where you can personalise your work style and schedule. Want to split your time between online, in-clinic and community work? We're here to prioritise whatever makes you the best clinician you can be with:
We're after OT's who get restless when they see room for improvement and aren't afraid to speak up about it. Who have a fire in their belly about participant care and treat participant goals like personal missions, not just checkboxes on a form. The ones who have the courage to challenge ideas (yes, even ours) when participant's interests are at stake. If this sounds like you, we might just be right for each other.
Onshore applicants seeking sponsorship will be considered.
At Better Rehab, we embrace diversity, inclusivity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and abilities including neurodiverse individuals.
If you think you'd be great in this role but don't meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply, we'd love to hear from you.
