Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver client-centred therapy across home and community settings. You’ll be supported by onsite supervision and a senior multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to develop skills in ADLs, assistive technology, and home modifications.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist and a valid license.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• NDIS check, Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, including clients’ homes, day centres, parks and beaches.
• Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to explore new treatment approaches and support complex cases.

Better Rehab works across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications. Day-to-day you will:

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on a case by case basis
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• An NDIS check, Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• This is an ideal role for a new-graduate or early-career OT looking for great support from a senior team.
