Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to lead and grow our OT services in the Warrnambool region. You’ll work with a supportive Regional Manager and Clinical Lead to develop client-centred plans across diverse settings, including homes and community sites.

You’ll benefit from a clinician-led culture, strong mentoring, and the flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid scheduling approach. Eligibility includes full AHPRA registration and 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on a case by case basis
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• This role is ideal for Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 3 years experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants’ homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
• Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work
• Innovate and collaborate with a whole multidisciplinary team to apply new treatment approaches and overcome challenges

This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications. We are looking for someone to be an instrumental lead in growing our occupational therapy services across the Warrnambool region, supported by an incredible Regional Manager and Clinical Lead, this is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting the local community and likes the autonomy and flexibility to work from home.
