Job summary

STAR Community Services is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to increase awareness of our services and strengthen connections with clients, carers, volunteers and community partners.

The role covers marketing campaigns, digital content, internal communications, and events, supporting aged care, disability and community transport services in a hands-on capacity. Based in Cleveland, you’ll plan, deliver and report on activities within approved budgets and priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and creating content for print and digital channels.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience with website content management systems, social media, email marketing and design tools such as Canva or InDesign.
• Ability to interpret campaign data and prepare clear reports.
• Experience coordinating events, promotional activities or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisational skills and sound judgement balancing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating marketing campaigns and maintaining a marketing, communications and events calendar.
• Writing and producing engaging newsletters, brochures, promotional materials, client stories and internal communications.
• Updating website content and coordinating social media, email marketing and approved digital advertising.
• Maintaining consistent branding and ensuring information is accurate, accessible and appropriate for its audience.
• Coordinating event promotion and logistics, including venues, suppliers, registrations and collateral.
• Building relationships with community organisations and referrers, and directing enquiries to relevant service teams.
• Monitoring campaign results and expenditure, and recommending practical improvements.
