Team Global Express in Melbourne Airport is seeking a Freight Coordinator / Same Day Consultant to join our fast-paced operations team on a permanent full-time basis. You will coordinate urgent freight movements across Same Day and Premium Services, working with customers, drivers and internal teams to ensure on-time collection and delivery with excellent service.

• Experience coordinating deliveries, dispatching or scheduling.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational systems.
• Proactive, team-focused approach and commitment to service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Same Day and Premium Services freight from booking to delivery.
• Allocate jobs with drivers, subcontractors and service providers.
• Monitor movements and proactively manage delivery performance.
• Track consignments and ensure service commitments are met.
• Provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
• Resolve disruptions and service issues with practical solutions.
• Prepare quotes and process bookings efficiently.
• Respond to enquiries by phone and email professionally.
• Manage inbound customer enquiries through phone queues.
• Make outbound calls to coordinate freight movements.
• Log and maintain documentation in Salesforce.
• Work with branches and account managers to deliver outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Promote safety and compliance in all procedures.
