Team Global Express is seeking a Freight Coordinator / Same Day Consultant for our Melbourne Airport team in a permanent full-time role. This fast-paced position coordinates urgent freight movements across Same Day and Premium Services, working with customers, drivers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional service throughout the process.

Mansioni

• Coordinate Same Day and Premium Services freight movements from booking through to delivery.
• Allocate and coordinate jobs with drivers, subcontractors and service providers.
• Monitor freight movements and actively manage delivery performance throughout the day.
• Track consignments and ensure service commitments are achieved.
• Communicate with customers, drivers and operations teams for timely updates and expectations management.
• Manage disruptions, delays and service issues and identify effective solutions.
• Prepare customer quotes and process bookings accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email professionally.
• Manage inbound customer enquiries via dedicated phone queues for prompt resolution.
• Conduct outbound calls to customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate movements and provide updates.
• Manage emails and service requests through Salesforce ensuring timely action and resolution.
• Ensure Proof of Delivery and documentation are completed accurately.
• Collaborate with branches, account managers and operations to deliver outstanding service.
• Maintain records in internal systems and platforms; follow safety and compliance procedures.
