Job summary

Partisan Protective Services seeks an experienced Alarm Monitoring Room Manager to lead the night operations of a 24/7 Control Room in Seven Hills, NSW. The role requires hands-on expertise in alarm monitoring and supervisory experience to ensure prompt alarm processing and compliant operations.

The successful candidate will manage night shift rosters, coordinate responses, and maintain high standards in client-specific procedures while liaising with emergency services and clients.

Qualifications

• Current or recent hands-on experience in an alarm monitoring centre/control room.
• Demonstrated experience processing and managing alarm events.
• Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience within an alarm monitoring environment.
• Strong understanding of alarm monitoring procedures and event escalation.
• Experience coordinating mobile alarm responses.
• Experience dealing with keyholders, clients and emergency services.
• Ability to manage high-priority incidents in a time-critical environment.
• Strong computer and monitoring software skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Ability to lead, coach and hold operators accountable for performance.
• Current NSW Security Licence appropriate to the position.
• Ability and willingness to work Roating shifts.
• Experience with CAMS or similar monitoring software will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Control Room during night shift operations.
• Supervise and support Alarm Monitoring Operators.
• Ensure alarm events are processed promptly and correctly.
• Manage alarm response dispatches and escalation procedures.
• Ensure operators follow client-specific action plans and SOPs.
• Monitor operator workloads and alarm queues.
• Manage critical alarms, duress events and emergency situations.
• Liaise with mobile patrol officers, emergency services, clients, contractors and keyholders.
• Review operator performance and address processing errors.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and event audits.
• Ensure accurate event notes and audit trails are maintained.
• Manage shift handovers and outstanding operational matters.
• Assist with staff training and ongoing operator competency.
• Maintain Control Room rosters and staffing levels.
• Escalate major incidents to senior management.
• Assist with client onboarding, monitoring changes and account reviews.
• Ensure monitoring records, contacts, zone information and action plans remain accurate.
• Support compliance with company policies and monitoring centre requirements.
• Provide reports and operational updates to senior management.
